PAINT AND DAMAGE CLAUSE

Paint is standard Rustoleum. Not made for high temperature applications. If used as a snuffer, paint will be damaged. Unpainted snuffers are preferred.  Please verify from manufacturer that using a lid/snuffer will not damage your pit. The pit might require the coals to be cooled before placing the lid. LID PAINT WILL NOT LAST FOREVER. The lid must be properly maintained or rust can occur. Be careful when placing the lid onto the pit to not scratch it. Do not put lid on pit if gas source is on. Remove lid prior to igniting flames or turning gas source on.
